The artwork is decent, and the story telling is good enough for this sort of game. It is paced fairly well and is pretty easy. If you want to take a chance on an RPG maker game, this is one of your better options.7\/10. OK, I love RPG maker games. I really do. I've been playing a ton of them lately. BUt here is my issue with this one. I am constantly receiving "hung script" errors with the game crashing instantly. Typically after I have completed a step in a quest. Another user reported the same problem in 2015. He never got a response. So, while I love the story and the game play, it is constantly being interrupted and I am forced to retrace steps I JUST DID. I cannot in good conscious recommend this game until this is addressed and a fix given.. Stargazer is a well made, turn based oldschool RPG.I enjoyed the game quite a lot, so I would recommend it to any oldschool player. If you liked the classics from the old SNES, you will probably like this game, too.It has lots of content (I'd say 20h+), many side quests, puzzles and is well balanced. It offers visible encounters and three diffculties, so anyone should be fine. There's also a tiny bit of romance in it, which I found nice and lighthearted. The story is well written, and you don't have to go through massiv text walls.Considered the price the game asks for, I can't think of any reason not to buy it. The game has also trading cards (but no achievements).. This is an interesting little RPGMaker game. Based around the return of magic to the world, which occurs after the crash landing of Aura, a girl from the stars... who might have been piloting a spaceship... Anyway, the story is both interesting, and comedic. The gameplay is... standard for RPGMaker, but not too annoying.. I like it. Pretty cool.. Stargazer is a superb RPG with a fantastic story and music, definitely worth it. I feel like the combat is a little lacking, although that could just be me and in no way is it something that causes any issues. The one thing that does bother me slightly is the many many "fetching" quests however that's only due to me having very little patience for that type of thing.Overall score: 9/10Graphics/animations: 9/10Story: 10/10Gameplay/Mechanics: 8/10Music/sound: 10/10. Meh, pretty bland, lots of filler and padding and the game speed and characters always felt underpowered. It's not an awful game or anything, and if all you are looking for is a simplistic rpg with barely anything special to differentiate it from the other rpgmaker titles on steam, then sure this is okay. The art is well done but the characters all look alike, the story is meh, a good portion of the cast doesn't really have any reason to be there and just kind of show up and stick around and stuff just kinda happens and then by the time the story decides to actually go somewhere, the game ends. I mean, it wraps up the story, it's just a pretty meh ending overall to a pretty meh game.
